Zeta Chapter was inducted as a colony on a beautiful day in the Spring of 2009 at University of California at Los Angeles. The were founded as a chapter on May 22nd, 2010. As of Spring 2016 they are still the only LGBTQIA and progressive sorority on campus. Zeta chapter rushes every fall and spring quarter and their recruitment period begins early in the quarter. Zeta works closely with the LGBT Resource Center at UCLA and always makes efforts to collaborate with other organizations on campus. In the past, Zeta has worked closely with the Pediatric Cancer Research foundation in their annual event “Dribble for the Cure”. Zeta chapter is part of the Multi-Interest group at UCLA which is a council that supports multi-cultural and special interest sororities and fraternities. Zeta Chapter aims to provide a home and comfort to each and every queer folk on campus and always be there for one another as siblings and family.
