Why did you join GRL?
As a member of Alpha class, I didn’t have a chapter to join! I found out about the sorority through my own research and then magically a month or two later I saw that an GRL interest group was forming on my campus! I saw that as a sign and knew I wanted to help create a space on my campus for queer individuals to feel included, safe, and connected.

Why did you start volunteering nationally?
I always knew I wanted to help give back to this organization that helped shape a lot of who I am today and gave me a lot of support during my undergraduate career. After being a mentor last year I knew I wanted to do more, which is why I ended up applying to the position!

What do you like most about being on National Council?
I love being able to give back to the organization, and I am especially excited to help out our collegiate members!
