Alpha Chapter was founded on November 20th, 2003 at Arizona State University by Gamma Rho Lambda's 12 original members. The chapter is still thriving today!
Alpha Chapter has long been active in local and national charitable organizations, with its long-term philanthropy supporting the Aunt Rita's Foundation where they participate in the organization’s annual Aunt Rita's Walk every year.
Alpha Chapter collaborates with many Greek and LGBTQ+ organizations. By connecting with more people and organizations across campus, the chapter is always looking to strengthen bonds within the community, as well as find new members to help carry on the traditions of the chapter and establish new ones!
Gamma Rho Lambda Kappa Chapter was founded on November 12th, 2011 at University of Houston. Kappa Chapter is a member of the University of Houston’s United Greek Council.
Kappa Chapter is proud to support Montrose Grace Place as their local philanthropy and continues to thrive both on and off their campus!

Lambda Chapter at University of California, Berkeley Campus was founded on April 27th, 2012. They are part of the Multicultural Greek Council (MCGC) and participate in Greek events like Greek Week, Greek Carnival, and exchanges with other Greek organizations.
Outside of the Greek community, they also participate in Queer events like collaborations with LGBT organizations and hosting workshops. Members of Lambda Chapter are involved with various campus organizations including: GENEQ, QARC, ASUC, the Decal Program, Professional and Honor Fraternities & Organizations, Cultural Organizations, and more! They are involved with multiple community services and fundraisers for their philanthropy. GRL Lambda Chapter’s Philanthropy is The Pacific Center , the oldest LGBTQ center in the Bay Area and third oldest in the nation.
The Omicron Chapter at Iowa State University was founded on April 19th, 2014. Omicron Chapter collaborates with the Pride Summit, which is a conglomerate of all LGBTQIA+ organizations on campus, each year. Omicron Chapter is also a member of the Multicultural Greek Council at Iowa State University and participates in events with their council.
Omicron Chapter is proud to support our national philanthropy, the Trevor Project, and hosts an Annual Pride Prom, which directly benefits this awesome organization!
Rho Chapter, or “Rising Rhos,” was inducted as a provisional chapter on the University of Iowa Campus Spring 2013 and was later founded on April 25, 2015. Rho Chapter is associated with the Multicultural Greek Council in the Greek Life community on campus.
Rho Chapter works with UI Spectrum, UI Trans Alliance, and Delta Lambda Phi (DLP) on many collaborative events to further their involvement on campus. They also collaborate with off-campus organizations such as United Action for Youth (UAY) and community pride events. Rho Chapter works with a few different philanthropies such as The Trevor Project (Gamma Rho Lambda's national philanthropy) and The Sister of Circlehood (Multicultural Greek Council philanthropy).

Tau Chapter of Gamma Rho Lambda is located at the University of Texas at Austin. Ten Alpha Class members were inducted as a provisional chapter in the Spring of 2015, and they officially were founded as Tau Chapter on April 30th, 2016!
Tau supports a number of nonprofits through philanthropy including Equality Texas and various local organizations. Tau is the proud recipient of both the Outstanding Community Involvement and the Outstanding Chapter award at 2024 National Convention!
In response to the state of Texas banning public universities from offering Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion trainings, Tau is offering LGBT Allyship Workshops to ensure that the queer community at UT Austin does not get overlooked.

The Gamma Rho Lambda Phi Chapter at University of Arizona was inducted as a provisional chapter January 23rd, 2016. They were founded as Phi Chapter on April, 22nd, 2017. After forming an interest group in March of 2015, the GRL at UA has been motivated to be involved on the University of Arizona campus. Some campus organizations they have worked with include Pride Alliance and Force, the feminist group on campus. This chapter is a part of USFC on this campus.
Since there are so many issues they feel are important to their hearts to help change, they do not have one formal philanthropy. These issues include, but are not limited to: domestic violence, homelessness, and youth in foster care.

Alpha Epsilon Chapter at George Mason University was inducted in fall of 2019 and founded in June 2021. They were persistent in completing the provisional chapter process, which was delayed by the COVID 19 pandemic.
Alpha Epsilon is proud to support our national philanthropy, the Trevor Project, and are also the proud recipients of the Most Improved Chapter award at 2024 National Convention!
On campus they hold founders day banquet in November, new member presentation, and collaboration events with other organizations both within their council and outside of it.
The chapter takes pride in how far they have come and how much they have grown since coming to Mason's campus. They take pride in their social conduct and our relationships with other Greek organizations as well as their awesome leadership.
