Membership in Gamma Rho Lambda is open to collegiate students on college campuses with an Active Chapter or those interested in starting a Provisional Chapter. Contact the chapter on your campus to learn more about their recruitment timeline and events!
Most of our chapters have a period of recruitment every semester. This includes informal social events and information sessions. You can meet our siblings and learn more about GRL in a fun, casual way. At the end of recruitment, you may receive an invitation to join as a New Member.
Our New Members participate in a multi-week program to learn about the history of GRL and get to know the members of the chapter before you are asked to commit to being an active member, a full sibling of Gamma Rho Lambda.
As an active collegiate member, you'll attend and help plan meetings, socials, and events to help you develop trust and bonds of siblinghood within your chapter. You will help recruit and support New Members. Most of our collegiate members hold an officer role.
After graduation or other life circumstances that take you away from college, you become an
alum member for life. Our alum members maintain their close siblinghood relationships throughout their lives, and many alum choose to
volunteer to support the organization nationally.
