Why did you join GRL?
I had just transferred to the University of Houston and I was in the same class as my future big. We became fast friends and they really encouraged me to join. I had wanted my time at the university to be beautifully queer; so, I took the leap and joined.

Why did you start volunteering nationally?
I was very active during my collegiate years. I held multiple positions and even won an officer of the year award. I wanted to continue doing good work for this organization and all future members. I see where this organization can go if we all work together to keep improving and growing.

What do you like most about being on National Council?
It's geeky but I really enjoy meetings. I love seeing everyone and talking about what they've been up to. There's a lot of responsibility and work but it makes me so happy to see my talented siblings tackle their goals.
